1:) Deforestation by burning accounts for up to 25% of the annual global CO 2 emissions. Trees are half carbon and by burning them we release all of that carbon into the atmosphere. At least three-quarters of deforestation in the tropics is due to burning, which releases about 2.4 billion tons of CO 2 into the atmosphere each year

2:) Deforestation will lead to a reduction in average rainfall and increased surface temperature.

Deforestation can cause an increase in CO2 in the atmosphere, therefore, causes the greenhouse effect and contributes to global warming. In addition, causes more soil erosion that eventually reaches the water resources and increases sediment deposit leaving less water space in rivers and lakes. Also destroys natural habitats making species move from their space and invade new habitats where they have to compete for food with other species. Species invasion can cause species extinction.

There are more trees in the U.S. today than 20 yr. ago. the Jungles of the world are doing quite well ,the farmers clear land to grow crops but the soil will only support crops a few years and then the farmer moves over and tries to fail a few years later. There is more rainforest's growing now than 10 yrs ago because the farms have failed . It is funny mother nature reclaims the land and all kinds of stuff grow. I have seen the fence post sprout and start to grow. If u measure the CO2 there has been no measurable increase. the green plant has done a marvelous job.

There are a lot, and most of them are bad.

>Less trees, more flash floods.

>Less trees, less sanctuaries for animals, birds and other plants that thrive on them.

>Less sanctuaries endanger the balance of Nature.

>Less trees, more pollution, because trees filter our air of carbon dioxide.

>Less trees, less food.

>Less trees, no more EXAMS!!!(^_^) Seriously, though, as much as I dislike exams, I love the trees. So say no to cutting trees! No to Exams! Hahaha!

>Less trees, less oxygen.

>Less trees, less rainfall. (Forests are a very important part of the water cycle. Transpiration is a major factor.)

>Less trees, more barren lands and deserts.

>Less trees, more heat waves and stuff. Trees (and plants) are natural air conditioning units.

>Less trees, less beauty in our world.

>Less trees, more deaths.

>In short, less trees, less life.

Want more life? Save (or plant) trees!(^_^)
