Freshman in high school. I was interrupting her (occasionally) asking too many questions, and SOMETIMES commenting what she says. OK, I was once in Mardan special ed school, a school for kids with behavioral/social problems. I got out of it in 8th grade, and they gave me a special circumstance aide. I got rid of it in October, 9th grade. My teacher always suggested I have the aide back whenever I got in trouble. Is she right in requesting I have my aide back???

P.S. My behavior was an N and I was interrupting her (occasionally) asking too many questions, and SOMETIMES commenting what she says.

IS SHE RIGHT???

CAN SHE REQUEST I HAVE MY AIDE BACK???

ANY IDEAS???

I have recieved my license in Illinois and I never used it.It will expire in March of this year and I will have to renew it.I don't want to keep renewing the license if I can't find employment.I recently moved to Detroit,Michigan and I don't know where to start.Do you know of any places who are willing to train me while I utilize my license too?If so I am willing to hear what you think I should do.One thing for sure I will not let my license expire.I just wish that there was something that I could do because no one wants to hire you with no experience and a license. Thanks,Heaven!!

I took the SATs in my sophomore year, not knowing that supposedly it was advised for me to take it in March of my junior year. Will my taking of the SATs in 10th grade have any kind of effect in the future? I know I can only take the SATs no more than 3 times, so I'm aware I'm only able to take two more.

Why is it unprofessional for teachers to kiss or hug or make out with partners when kids/teens can see?

Surely its a good thing to see people in love or showing affection?

And like the teenagers would not be doing the same with their loves?

And maybe help them to relate?

My son is in the 8th grade. He has played football for 2 years and cannot wait to play high school football and dreams of playing college and then pro one day. The question I have is, we, my husband and I have recently purchased a weekend home in a small town and we really love it there. The school my children would go to is sooooo small there is no football there and no band but, my children would get so much more help academically ( i think) 1:8 teacher student ratio where we live now it is 1:25. School enrollment all grade levels is only like 400 kids. My oldest daughter is on honor roll in band and is active in everything at her high school of 2000 students now. I have explained to them that in a small town their chances of scholarships are GREATER yet, my children do not want to move. We currently live in the city and violence is EVERYWHERE... WHAT SHOULD WE DO?

We are having our child tested for admission to GATE program, but dont have the results yet. However, I remember reading a while ago that children got their IQ from the mother. Is this correct?
Any one know?
