I'm korean and I'm 18. korea high school started at 7, finished at 10pm.And After that 90% of student go to the academy for study (Like math, english.)and back to home at like, 2am.
I'm curious other countrys student do that...
Cause I talk about my teacher and teacher said "Other country is just same as us"but I just can't believe it...

We Studied all the time in school. Like math, history, english, economy, literature...
We have 120 min for P.E, 90 min each for music and art. Not a day, A week. And one hour eacf for lunch time and dinner time every day.
Except that We always reading stuff and writing stuff and do studying.

Korea Is much much more competative then America. In the USA the students that go to public schools usually dont have school from more then 8 hours a day. There may be saom work that we are sent home with to finsih but other then that. no we are not just like that.

Back in my country we have studies at school for 6 hours. But we still have to enter tuition classes and so it's like having 8 hour classes. Of course we still have to do our homework and stuff so it would be around 12 hours needed? But of course it differs for each person in my country but I think my lifestyle was more or less the same as yours. Cause I'm stuck at home most of the time.

Your school schedule sounds hellish. But, being from a different culture, I really cannot make a judgment. I find what you described as impossible! When do you get to enjoy life? If what you say is true, then I feel sorry for your country producing overworked teenagers. Balance is life is the key!!

i go to "american" high school in new jersey, and we have the longest hours in new jersey. starts at 7:30 ends at 3:00...
what do you do at school for 15 hours???
