i want to be able to study for a good amount of time without gettin discouraged or distracted. it seems that whenever i take a break from studyin, i never go back to studyin; ive tried stopping takin a break but that doesnt seem to help; also i need to establish a system or daily routine for studyin; i have a basic plan, but maybe i can get a better idea from u guys. goin to a different and harder high school has made reform my study methods many times, so i really need to noe what other people do, cuz i have no clue now. ive tried askin people at school but they dont really give me a good answer. so, i really need to have a good system worked out, one that'll last. so, please guys, i need you to help me

Yes ,I wanna know if i have the right to choose a school for my child...Because the school that he goes to now is very bad and they said ( the district people) that u must go to ur assigned local school,the one that is the closest to ur home? Is this true or can i take him to another school...I live in syracuse ,ny and my son is in 2nd grade...Thanx!!

well i think i basically just missed a whole year...
this is the thing i moved to a new city n state about october school had already started for about a month ,,my sis was enrolled a month later and is ok i was going back n forth to cali finally stayed over here in november then i didnt go to school until dec. we had a problem with a family member sick wit cancer and have been going to see him often my sis is still in skoo im not its now almost feb. missed a looooottt of school.. i had thought of going into home school i have been in it already but still wats gonna happen im not sure...am i still in time to go back to skool? will i get my rents into problems? cuz some of it is that i didnt wanna go..but i dnt wanna drop out tho...i really wanna finish even tho u might think it dnt seem like it...plz just gimme ur opinions or wat u think..im in 10th grade by the way...
im not sure..if i just not go this yr and start at 10th nxt yr...will that b a problem k im confused help plzz :)

I'm only a sophomore in high school but I do really bad in school. N's(Not passing, C's, and occasionally B's. I hate everything about school except when computers are involved. So, I eventually want to go to a college to learn more about computers....What do you guys think my chances are of getting into an ok college? Can I at least improve by graduation? I feel dumb.

When I was younger (in grade school and middle school) I use to be so motivated to work hard. I would do my homework as soon as I got home and would study for every test and quiz. I got straight a's. Now, I'm in high school and in the highest levels except for math. Honors geometry is the hardest and I'm in geometry. I cannot focus or concentrate on my schoolwork. I cant pay attention in class because I'm so distracted by other things such a boy problems all the time. I've started copying homework from friends and I never study anymore for tests. But grades are still important to me. i want to do well and get into a good college, and have a good future. But I just cant seem to work hard. I am getting a c in math this marking period and 1 or 2 b's and all the rest are a's. Last week I had midterms and i didnt study for any of them and I feel that I did poorly on all of them . Even on the english one which happens to be my best subject. Last year, I even recieved a trophy for doing well.

My son's friend has been threatened at his new school, hasn't been there in a week. We've been asked if we could say he lives with us so he could attend school in our district. We'd like to help so that he stays in school, but of course not at the chance of jeopardizing us. Has anyone done this? How did you go about it? Were there ramifications? Is it worth it? My child turned 6 in november than for the Tn law, she need to stay in kindergarten, but I feel she is out of place there. I spoke with teacher, and any person in the school, result she need to stay in kindergarten and learn what the other children learn.
But I think it's not fair that she is learning at school how to count from 1 to 10 and at home she add and subtract. At school she learn the S and T sounds and at home write 2 pages stories and read a lot of books.
What can I do??
