Your best bet is to practice. I searched on the internet and found lots of responses for grammar tests. I've included one link, but you can find many more to practice with.

I know a good site for learning English, there u can learn grammar also. And the good thing abt this site that here is a teacher who corrects ur mistakes just next day. I think she will also help u by correcting ur grammar mistakes if u wrote ur essay there. So give it a try! Here it is www.ezboard.com

You have already got a lot of help from the other answers
but i would suggest practice writing after reading a lot.Use phrases, idioms & proverbs, quotation in your Essay this adds spice to your Essay.Stick to the topic given to you write advantages & disadvantages related to the topic.Your introdution paragraph & conclusion should be very catchy. Practise makes man perfect.

Could you take an English class? I don't mean learning the language, I mean like Americans take-- that's where we learn grammar, etc. Also, read all the English newspapers, magazines, etc that you can, and watch the news-- most of the anchors are very articulate and speak correctly most of the time. Pay attention to second and third grade writing rules. For example, use capital letters to start a sentence.
