It's against the law to miss school if you're under the age of 16. Your parents an and will get into trouble when someone finally figures it all out (as well they should). The best thing for you to do is to enroll in school as a 10th grader NOW. If you think about it, high school is all about how many credits you have. The 2nd semester is starting, so you'll probably be able to get in a full semester's worth of credits if you do it NOW. You may have to graduate later than what you expected, but you DID get a lot of time off as a result. Besides, you seriously need some help in the spelling department. No disrespect intended, but my 3rd graders spell better than you.

10th grade...are you 16? If you are then drop out and get your GED. The test is easy. People will tell you not to, but trust me - it makes life a lot easier. I did and still got a bachelor's degree in college. My life was a mess and I was working full time. School was too much. If you're not 16 & have been home schooled in the past - then start there. If you suddenly show up at either school, you're parents will definately get in trouble and you won't pass the school year. At least with home schooling you can try to make up what you missed. I'm not sure if there are papers that need to be filed for home schooling. If there are - I'd get them in asap.

A problem similar to this has actually happened to me...or well, did.
I moved to florida in the 9th grade and everything there was so much different from what i'd already learned. I was way behind and they had this offical test, the FCAT, which i failed since i hadn't learned any of that stuff at my previous school. Once 10th grade rolled around, i was put in lower classes because of my FCAT scores and i wasn't getting the proper education i should have been given. I pretty much just stopped going through out 10th grade. It was way too difficult and i knew that i was going to fail their FCAT again seeing as i wasn't being taught what i need to know to pass the test. Well, once i finished the 10th grade, i moved back to where i had previously lived, thinking that everything would go back to normal but once i went to the school, the counselor had told me that i had only recieved 6 credits since the 9th grade. I was SO far behind. I was supposed to be in the 11th grade and they had me put in 9th grade classes and they told me i'd have to stay in school an extra 3 years just to get all my necessary credits. It just sounded so rediculous. I tried to get homeschooled but since i was 16, they wouldn't let me. They said i was 16 and i was of legal age to drop out so that's what i did. I got my GED instead. It's just as good as a high school diploma and you get it way quicker. And don't think just because you dropped out and got you're GED that you're gonna fail in life. You're not. As long as you go to college, you can get an excellent job. If you go to college, jobs don't even worry about high school, because you'll have a college degree. I mean, look at the person who answered this that has their bachelors degree! I'm sure they're giving an excellent life. Also, about you're parents getting into trouble, yes, they will. My brother never wanted to go to school and so he didn't and the school took my mom to court. They said if my brother didn't start going to school that they could put my mom in jail.
Anyway, good luck with whatever you do :)

Not too late to go back. You may be able to catch up and finish 10th this year. Best thing to do would be go to the school and speak to someone about it. They will accommodate you as best they can but you have to make the effort. I say go for it. Good luck!

Get yourself over to your local school department and get yourself enrolled - you can worry about everything else later. It might me in your best interest to get yourself enrolled into a GED program and simple get that done instead of spending an extra year in high school if that is what the local school department wants you to do.
Good Luck!!!
