if ask my parents to help in my homework she say's i donno all this stuff our studies was much easier

Our eduation is not comparable. My parents had a better understanding of geography, mine a better understanding of math. My parents can do mental math faster because we've had to depend more on calculators. They have more common sense and better problem solving skills and we know more about computer programming and science. We live in a different time and the education system has changed accordingly.

Better because reagrdless of the academics taught in either generation, my parents were educated in segregated schools. Blacks went to separate schools. Special-needs students went to special schools. Everyone was taught the same thing in the same way. We have come a long way since then.
