hey I am a senior in HS and i live on long island and i got a 63 on my biology regents in 10th grade, but people are telling me that you pass the biology regents with a 55. is this true? cause my guidance counselor signed me up to take it again this Friday and i was wondering if it was true?

It use to be 55 - however the NY Board of Regents have raised the score to 65 calling it a "proficiency standard." You can get a diplomat (as the Board calls it a local diploma) but it will state you have not met the proficiency standards of the NY Board of Regents (in some way). So I would suggest you get studying and good luck - sorry.

no, you need a 65
it used to be 55, but that's back when the regents were hard to pass.
