Should I feel like I'm behind? I'm 22 and still working on a simple two year degree and have only held sales associate positions, none of which have been longer than five months each.

Book for young college student?
My sister is turning 18 and she is in college. I want to get her a book she can read that might inspire her. She is an art major, studying art history, she has a boyfriend that i am not too fond of ( I wish she were with someone who treated her better, but i cannot judge for she is happy ) I want her to find herself more and give her a book that will continue to inspire her and give her womanly strength to accomplish anything.... any reccomendations?

I am 19 years old and am going to college. I live at home and commute a total of around 3 hrs each day just to get to school. I am doing a double major in Political Science and History with a minor in Legal Studies. I hope to finish school in a total of 2 yrs (I'm almost done) and then go to law school

My problem is that I get a lot of BS from people because I am 19 and don't have a job. I spend over 50 hours at school, and spend most of my weekends volunteering. I get straight A's and take about twice as many classes as my friends who get C's and work....is it wrong for me to spend my time doing volunteer work and trying to finish college in half the time?

My parents don't want me to work because they are from a different country and they were raised that only kids whose parents cannot afford to help out their kids have jobs you shouldn't work, period. I don't have all that much time to myself and most.of my spare time is spent studying. Why do so many hate that i don't have a job

I'm a senior and so far my overall GPA is 2.6. My SAT score is 1410 out of 2400 and I haven't taken the ACT or SAT II yet? I wants to be a family doctor, but the way I'm doing I don't think I could be in a school that I really want. Is there any chance a good pre-med school would accept me? How about the UCs? Should i not try?

My boss is conducting a research study on the relevance of some factors to producing quality graduates. by quality he means graduates that bring honor to the school where he came from. my question is this: how do passing licensure exams and competency exams, and employment influence the production of "quality graduates"? answers from school administrators and related personnel are most welcome :-)

I am finishing a psych degree and really want to get a degree in fine arts, but I am just wondering what jobs are available. Would it benefit me to get the additional fine arts degree (it will only take me a year to do)? What fine arts jobs are out there as well(regardless of psychology degree)?

Thanks!

I'm a senior in high school and i plan on attending University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign as a biological sciences major with a pre-med emphasis. I was wondering if joining an honors program is important for medical schools? At U of I it say that you need a minimum ACT score of a 28. I received a 26, but i have a 5.0/5.0 GPA, 6/160 class ranking but i wouldn't be able to get into the honors program. I was wondering if you can apply end of freshman year for an honors program for sophomore year? I'm not a good standardized test taker but i'm good at taking test with my AP calc, AP chem, AP english, etc and I don't want the ACT to limit what i'm able to do! Any advice?
