Book for young college student?
My sister is turning 18 and she is in college. I want to get her a book she can read that might inspire her. She is an art major, studying art history, she has a boyfriend that i am not too fond of ( I wish she were with someone who treated her better, but i cannot judge for she is happy ) I want her to find herself more and give her a book that will continue to inspire her and give her womanly strength to accomplish anything.... any reccomendations?

Try "The Red Tent" by Anita Diamant; it really show the pride in being a woman. It is based on a small part of the bible, but it really is not a religious story

"Count Your Blessings" by Dr. John Demartini. This is a powerful book about purpose, success, and life principles. I highly recommend it.

Best wishes.

"The Creative Habit" by Twyla Tharp.

Good for anyone in any creative field. Talks about how to be creative on demand, when people are counting on you.
