If you Google "Prepare for college interview" several good web sites will pop up. The link below looks pretty good.

The piece of advice that I like is that you shouldn't plan for what questions will come up -- but instead plan for what information you want them to get about you.

They aren't out to trick you. They just want to find out if you will fit in there. Remember that it is a two-way street. You are interviewing them to see if the school is what you want.

Dress well. Don't chew gum or smoke (even though Duke was funded by tobacco money). Be polite -- but natural. It is OK to joke, but know when to be serious. They know what Duke will do for you -- so make sure that they know what you will do for Duke.

I got my MBA there -- and it was an incredible two years. Good luck.

At my college the education counselors will meet with you and do a "attemptcontinual" interview. additionally perchance ask somebody older to do a attempt interview with you as nicely a pair of questions i assure you will a technique or the different would desire to respond to are a million. Why do you % to pass to this faculty 2. What would you convey to the college 3. possibilities to placed on application (grades, tests, training, extracurriculars, and so on.) i'd advise answering those questions whilst watching your self in a reflect to make sure you think of you appear to be to blame, outgoing, and so on. that are the failings the interviewee is calling for. (additionally make constructive your clothing, makeup, and so on. are proper, ex. in case you have any tattoos or extra beneficial piercings i'd conceal them) maximum of all dont be too worried. human beings would desire to in common terms do interviews in the event that they're solid at conversing with persons and the interviewees are no longer there to discover faults to no longer help you into the college. modern-day your terrific features and attempt to ignore approximately your undesirable ones devoid of being overly self-constructive
