Go to fashion school. Parson's in NY is a great school, they charge about $15,000 a year I believe, and then after you get out try getting an internship with a designer... That's really helpful when starting out in the fashion world. Hope that helps! Good luck!

Try to get in to Parsons school of design they are perfect for fashion designers. How can you go wrong Vera Wang and tons of others are frequent guest lecturers.

make sure you know how to draw first...and go to a college that is known for fashion like fit, parson, fidm, etc...
