I got accepted to Roberts Wesleyan University in Rochester, New York. Ive also been accepted to Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois. I think I would really rather go to Roberts but I dont really know yet. The thing is that Roberts costs $3000 more AND Olivet is giving me a $8000 a year scholarship. in order to get anything from Roberts i have to got there on the 30th of november throught the 2nd of December to take a few essays and i might qualify for a full ride. If i go i am guaranteed at least $5000 a year. But i will have basketball practice if not a few games that weekend. and i live in California so its not like New York is right around the corner. Is this a sign that i pretty much shouldnt go to Roberts?

I plan to apply to Harvard Medical School after graduating from college. But I don't know if Harvard or other elite medical schools will take into account the reputation of the undergraduate college I attend. What I mainly want to know is if I go to Princeton University and have a 2.5/3.0 average or if I go to a third tier school, thats not known and have a 4.0 GPA, which situation will medical schools take students.
Thanks!

It is not for a job, it is for a college leadership program called First-Year Leadership Institute.

I was told "The first 30-45 minutes of the interview will be an interactive group activity that the interviewers will be observing. As a group, you will be given a task and we will be observing how you interact with the group. "

I have no idea what the activity will be, but any suggestions that would help in such situations?

Thanks :)

1. Are there any doctors to be out there that are going to school and have children?
2. I have a bachelor's degree in computer science. Do I need pre-med courses or can I get into med school with my degree?
3. What pre-med schools are out there in the metro area? Are there any online pre med schools?
4. I also have a 9-5 job do you think I can juggle the job the kids and the school?
5. I am good in chemistry and math but science is iffy do I have a chance?
6. Is it true that becoming a family practice doctor is easier than any other specialty.?
7. I am a very calm person I care for people but I never said in my life I want to be a doctor. I just started to have an interest since I am working in a hospital enviornment and I see the need and how well doctors are respected.
8. I am 27 years old I beleive by 35 I will be done. Is this a good time to start.

I was accepted into a very prestigious Phd program in the United Kingdom. Recently, however, I've been calling into question whether this is the right environment for me to be in. I guess one could chalk it up to an existential crisis of sorts ("why am I doing this? why am I here?"). I'm just not seeing the "real-world" application of my studies (critical film analysis) and in the face of everything that's going on in the world I'm feeling a bit like a blip on the radar, slowly creeping into the oblivion of intellectual discourse never to be heard from again.

The biggest pro is that I'd get to teach: that is huge. Honestly it's the reason I wanted to do this in the first place. But, a big con is I also feel a large amount of guilt as my fiance is back home in the States finishing his MA (the plan is for us to get married in July, then he'll move over here and start a Phd program of his own). He's sacrificed a lot and I'm just generally worried about how complicated things have become

I recently graduated with my BA in Child Development from a really good school, with a really good GPA, but have decided that I want to be a graphic/web designer instead. Since my husband's in the navy and we'll be moving around a lot, I've been looking into getting another degree online. The problem is that no online schools offer Masters in graphic design or web design or anything even remotely related. Should I get a second Bachelors in the subject instead? Or should I go for an online Master's degree in a subject that doesn't interest me as much?
