I took the GMAT today and earned a shocking 560. My practice scores usually ranged from 640-670, with verbal scores in scaled 40-42 points. I scored better in quantitative than in verbal today (wow, the irony). So yah, I'm dazed.

That being said, the average GMAT score of enrolled students in the Northeastern MS in accounting/MBA program is 580.The average GPA is 3.25. Northeastern is my first choice, and I also hoped to receive a scholarship upon acceptance. I have a GPA of 3.89 from a small college. Now that my chances of getting a scholarship (or an assistantship of some sort) are slim, I'm wondering if I could even get in.

I've sent in application materials already. I have no full-time work experience (although none is required for the program), but I have leadership experience and I'm engaged in various extracurricular activities. Do I retake the GMAT or hope for the best? Please advise me here...

had to withdrawl with a 4.0 and I know I can't go back to that school but wonder if I have been blacklisted against other schools and hospitals. I don't think I will feel satified until I do it and have been depressed since I didn't make it through. I also thought about doing cna or lpn first any ideas.

As an international student and going into the Finance for the major. Im so frustrated of thinking about getting into which school. My cousin in law told me that there is not a big difference between both - like reputation, starting salary, or so. (She isn't sure about it, she just guesses, but she graduated from Boston College for a long time ago.)
or the other hand, I heard from my classmate, who is attending at Amherst, he's saying Amherst is much better than Boston FOR SURE.
Please help, because if I attend at Amherst, I need to live in dormitory. And some ppl I'm living with would say sth harsh, cuz i need to pay more money for the housing. So, I'm wondering if there is strong fact about Umass Amherst is better than Boston one.
The only one reason that block my mind is my cousin in law, she is saying there is no different. I kind of believe her, cuz I know she is a very smart woman, and I admire her.

I have a group presentation on a case study for an MBA management course. There are several issues in the case, but the main one is a communication problem between two Russian scientists and other group members from Japan, Canada, and Austria stemming from cultural differences. My group is having a difficult time coming up with something creative for the presentation. It should be something that involves the class in some way. It could be a game, a skit, a video, etc. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.

I'm nearing up my last year or so of undergrad here at the University of Houston. I want to go to some sort of graduate/professional school afterward, and lately have been thinking hard about applying for law school somewhere.

The question is this: I've transferred twice thus far and have grades from other schools on my transcript. Which GPA will the law school be concerned with? My GPA that's calculated from ALL of my college courses or my GPA that's calculated just from University of Houston?

Thanks!
