I really don't get it, how much are the starting salaries?
Don't dermatologists make poor money in local clinics?

If you're not in your third year of medical school, you shouldn't even be thinking about specialties. It's like a third-grader trying to choose a college.

If you're going into medicine for the money, you're going to be one very unhappy doctor, and we don't want you in anesthesiology.

All doctors can make lots of money.

Dermatologists make great money. They also have great hours -- since they don't have many emergencies. They can be noble and work in local clinics -- or they can have private practices where they give chemical peels and botox injections to wealthy suburban housewives and get rid of the zits on the faces of celebutantes.

Get a bachelor's degree and an MCAT score before seriously thinking about that question.

it's your choice if you want to be either of those, or what i would do is try them out and pick which ones are the best. but that might not be the best way to do it, since i'm only 14.
All i'm trying to say is...it's your choice.
