Should I go to a four-year university with a film program or go to strictly film school? I'd like to go to the best/most affordable. I've been involved with filmmaking since I was 8 years old. I'm now 20. Please take a look at this link: "www.youtube.com/goatworthy" View the featured video on the channel. I'm very familiar with filmmaking, but based on this info...what do you think? Katrina came and washed away everything here 100% in St. Bernard Parish (adjacent to NOLA). Should we go to film school, a four-year university offering it, or try and stir things up on our own? We'd like the best and most affordable...possible scholarship...

I've always wanted to be a doctor but now i'm questioning if i can survive so much schooling. I'm really interested in marketing and i've read that some marketing positions can even make as much as a doctor and they dont have so much stress and school. In your opinion which is the better choice.

So i'm about to be 21 and in my opinion time is going really fast because it seems like I just graduated from high school yesterday not 3 years ago. This time 3 years ago I was packing up for college, super excited for what was ahead of me but upset that my parents made me stay instate for school, and refused to support me if I transeferred. Now I'm 28 days shy of 21 and after taking a semester off from school to think about somethings and figure somethings out.still don't know what I want to do. I am registered for classes this semester and part of me is really ready to go back, the other part of me wants to join the air force because I wanted to do something different and travel to new places, and serve our country for four years and finish school but was afraid to disappoint my family. I have about one day to figure out what I want to do. I'm afraid to miss out on something by not joining or regret if I do. either way I want to get my degree

Entering this year I am on academic probation at the University of Connecticut. I have a 1.66 cumlative gpa with 45 credits entering in my third year. I am 21 years old and even if I take a full course load every semester to graduate I will have to stay at Uconn for atleast 6 more semesters. Is it worth it to take out $80,000 more in loans to get a B.S. in Physiology from UCONN or should I just cut my losses at being $40,000 in debt and take itt tech courses for 1 year to get a B.S. in Forensic Science. I've talked to ITT tech representatives and they said if I take 6 courses in the fall and spring and then 3 courses in the summer assuming that all of my credits from UCONN transfer I will have a B.S. in Forensic science from ITT tech school of Criminal Justice Online and it will cost $10,000 total. If I do this will I still be able to get a job even though itt tech is not accrediated? Or should I stay at UCONN? I want to become a middle school science teacher maybee

It'd be helpful, if out of Arizona, that the out-of-state tuition was not too much.

I know that instructor's editions have a smaller font because there are additional comments and footnotes on the margins,
but do they have the same exact reading text than the student's edition, or is less? ie. summarized?
(the reason why i ask is because the teacher's edition is cheaper than the student's)

610 GMAT (80% Verbal, 55% Math, Perfect Essay Score)
3.65 Undergrad GPA (Business/Spanish Double Major) (very involved at school)
3 years Work Experience (Large Entertainment Company (1 Year), Large Internet Company (2 Years), Great marketing jobs, now making 90k a year)
Involved in the Community
First Generation Hispanic (Bilingual)
Great Recommendations from Former Boss + Current Boss

To be frankly honest, I'm worried about my GMAT score... As much as I hope to find a program that looks beyond quantitative skills (which is one reason I need b-school), I know they rely heavily on it... Realistically, I don't think I can retake the test and get a higher score on the math piece.. Am I being unrealistic in wanting to get into a top 10 program?

I didn't decide what to do until the last minute, and I'm trying to avoid having to take classes at a community college this semester. I know of a private university that does this, but it is extreemly expensive. Thank you!

Hi everyone,
I am really interested in colleges out of state. I live in NC. I am really interested in attending a college in England and Paris but am openminded about changing to another state. I would like it if someone could tell me some requierments and websites that would be good for me. Im a junior so the time is really approaching quick! I would also like to know SAT scores and GPA and COST that would be required. I also want to know how to get a scholarship to a college that is out of state.

And I want to major in Radiology and Theater.

I wanted to know how do I add on to my vocabulary? It is not that well put together (if you would say). I'm in a Technical college and they start you out with composition english. That is not going to help me. I feel like I'm so far behind everyone else. I got my GED in 1997 and just started college last year. But I know I need to be more advaced in my vocabulary and I don't know how to go about it.

I know that there are many different programs, BUT I dont think that I can even get into the five year program right now because I have had bad grades, and right now I am kind of working on them!!
So, I was thinking of going to get a bachelor degree first, and then go on and get a masters in architecture?
So, what are some good degree options?

I want to go to Loyola University in Chicago.

My first question is, the application says to get your highschool counsler's recommendation....does that mean that i can't get a teacher's?

Also, a senior i knew last year got her recommendation done but the teacher she got it from typed it up and all that, but for most applications i've looked at they ask you to write everything on their lines...so how does that work?

Lastly, is it okay if i want to get recommendations from several of the teachers i've had and then compare and see which one i like?
