What did you do after you graduated?
This super sucks... you spend all this time in college then they spit you out with kind of an idea of what you want to do if you can get a job doing it. So 3 years and thousands of dollars later, I feel like someone forgot to tell me something... So once I graduate. Then what? Really what happens after graduation... I'm supposed to just get a job and thats the rest of my life... am I the only one who is not ok with that I want to work, right out of college I think I need sometime to travel or something everyone thinks I'm odd for not wanting to start making resumes and going right to work as a entry level management trainee or something. Part of me wants to join the military, the other part of me just wants to sit on my butt for a few years.... I eventually do want my high paying executive job but I want to have fun and do interesting things before days in the board room... so what did you do when you graduated?

My boyfriend believes the guys who are jocks in high school and participate in football are more disciplined. He says the guys who participate in football this fall are more likely to succeed in life because of the discipline they have in high school sports.
I think he has a screw loose and participation in high school sports is not discipline enough to make you do well in your carreer choice or in your life.
Do you think he is nuts, or am I ? I just think he is being ridiculous. My family are not at all sports minded, but my brother retired at the age of 35 and was very successful, and we have an attorney, an electrician and 2 nurses in our family and none of us were in sports.
Where does he get his crazy idea's?

Im still in high school and I am a second year senior. I messed up last year pretty bad, but I have matured and lately I have been thinking hard on what I want to do with my future career. My plan for college is 2 years in community college then two years in a university. I am going to be graduating at the end of this year. And I am scared that Im not going to know what I want to do in college then never go. I have looked at so many options and nothing really interests me. Will it just come to me what I want to do? Or is there anything I can do to help find out?? Maybe talk to my high school counsler. Thanks.

my parents never completed school and got a degree so they have jobs where they dont earn much, and I'm 18 and ready to go to college(electrical engineering). they want to send me to a local college which is good and cheap but I'm scared becuz I heard that when you look for a job, they usually hire people who went to good schools and stuff. I have been given scholarships but its barely enough for the school i'll be going to. so yeah I dont wanna end up like my parents but I'm afraid I will(sucks to feel this way). basically what i'm wondering is am I doomed if I dont attend a good school and get my degree from a local state university?

I graduated from high school taking the minimal math required to graduate. It was very basic Mathematics and I was lucky to pass it. On the other hand, my Science classes were a total interest of mine and I recieved A's in the classes.
What is the deal. I am going to have to take math to get into Chemistry, and I am afraid I will not be able to pass the classes. It is so hard for me. I struggle and it is scaring me to enroll in college Math. Whats the deal and how do I get good grades? I feel totally stupid. Its embarrasing. Do other people struggle like this?

He and I took an assessment to determine where we place in college math. We both assessed into the same level math course. Should we take the same class at the same time or should I take it at a different time? I could pick him up on the way to class to save him some money.

I had a class today at noon - I accidently went to it at 11 -- (college). I emailed my teacher saying it won't happen again.

Is this common to happen? School just started a week ago so I got confused with the class schedule. Would she forgive me? The earlier class is exactly like mine - I took the quiz she wanted us to take. My quiz now just happens to be with the other students of the earlier class (I emailed her this).
