I'm from Ecuador and I want to study in Canada next year and I've recently found an oportunity to gain a scholarship in Quebec. Could somebody tell me how many and which are the universities of that province? How costly are they? Not only tuition but living expenses also. I've heard many great things about Montreal, is it really that cool? How's daily life there? How are people there? I want to make lots of friends and probably live there after graduating.
Don't tell me only the english speaking universities, tell me about the french speaking ones too. I'm studying business administration by the way, i'm majoring in international business.
Thanks for all the help in advance.

if you already have a BA and want to get another in another major? Will courses transferring from the previous college transfer over and count for a second degree?

Or do you recommend going to a community college with no record of a BA and transferring from there?

Does this really matter? And are there any ways to just submit a portion of a transcript from a college?

thank you to anyone who could assist me on this matter!

Do you think that college students are becoming nothing but products for recruiting?
I mean isn't college education about just more than getting a job? With all these college rankings and books of rankings.

I really want to get into Boston College, but I know its really selective. Does anyone think that I can get into that college without playing a sport? I am really busy with school work, all the possible advanced classes my school offers for a higschool sophmore, and I've played French Horn for six years. My GPA is really important to me and I work hard to keep it high. I like to read, draw, write, and perform and am a big supporter of the performing arts.

Is this enough to look good on a resume, in addition to volunteering? Or is an organized sport necessary to getting into a college, even though I am active?

Thanks, I'm really going to be happy to get a response to this question.

I got a 3.5 GPA in high school, and graduated from 3 National Honor Societies (NHS,NSHSS,NTHS) and Iam an Eagle scout. Colleges keep rejecting me because Iam either missing foreign languages or this math credit. (My class schedule had absolutely no room in it for those classes). So they turn my attention to the community college top get a full two year degree (appeasing those individual credits is unacceptable). It is way too hard to enroll in general eds because most of them are on waiting lists. ( It will be like 4 or more years just to get a two year degree ) Iam looking into other ways to get some school to accept me in a reasonable amount of time ( trying to make connections to see If I can get in despite those missing credits . It has been three years of nothing but rejection letters. I keep missing the criticism I keep getting told. That Iam not responsible for my actions and that I dont deserve college. I cant get in legitimately so whats acceptable. turning my back on it.

I stopped going b/c I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life and I am still figuring that out. Does anyone think that it is absolutely necessary to go to college to achieve success?

Hello, for those in the field I was wondering in general about the requirements related to going after RVT licensure from ARDMS after completing a general only DMS program?

I'm currently enrolled in a general DMS program accredited by ARDMS, and was wondering mainly the specific requirements to further education in the specialized RVT field? Is this something that we can learn on the job, then after a certain amount of time and practice can apply to take the exam if were already DMS certfied?

Or does RVT require going to school specifically for this field? I know that some DMS programs offered by CAAHEP offer vascular as a part of the cirrculum, but it seems like the overwhelming majority offer it only as a speciality, and even the number of those schools isn't very high.

So I'd like to know if anyone can tell me if I can learn RVT on the job, or if its college only? What the requirements are by ARDMS, etc.

Any advice or help would be great!

Thanks

people make it sound like people who have a 2.8 or 2.9 gpa wont get into college or will have to go to comunity college. A 2.8 or 2.9 isn't bad. Right? i mean it is a B or B-. i mean if you are really involved in good extra curricular activities wont you get accepted and if you get a pretty good test score on the ACTs.
