Higher Education (University +) - March 2007

I have the chance to study Law LLB either in Birckbeck University as part time (evenings) and do not have to stop working full time and pay for my expenses and studies or stop working, ask for a loan to be able to pay my studies and study either in Queens Mary or Reading. What is better. In which way I will have a better exits in the future?

other costs that he will have to pay besides food & lodging. My neighbour claimed that his son still studying in Spore poly had incurred almost Rm 70,000 (malaysia) in school related fees after the 3yr dipoma graduation. Why is it so? Thanks

Got to write an essay for tomorrow. I've been doing it last night and this morning, and done a 1/3 of it! How can I get through this? I'm writing an essay on something I hardly understand. I need to write 1500 words over all, which doesn't seem much but it is. I have taken 8 books out from the library. What's the best way to get through this? Any tips in keeping focus? hi i am about to apply for a uni course for ODP and need to write an essay 1500 words on anything in healthcare. i really want to make a good impression but the topic is so vague i need some inspiration!! i am happy to the research etc but what to base it on i don't know maybe infection control in theatres? is the best i've come up with any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated.

I went to junior college and got great grades, then I transferred to a university and I have been miserable and have gotten poor grades? Is it possible to forget it ever happened and use my junior college grades to apply for a school that is more for me, and start fresh? Its only been a year. Being miserable and studying at an institution your not to happy with is dreadful. I want my educational experience to be more exciting!!

Hi Friends,

I have recently Completed my MA (International Politics and Human Rights) and I did my dissertation / thesis on "US Foreign Policy and China's Rising Superpower Status". I LOVED this topic so much that I would like to go and step further and do a PHd on it.

However, because I am now 23 years old, I strongly feel that I must now get my foot on the career ladder.

Is it possible to study for a Phd (Part time) while working (full time)???

I applied to three University of California Schools. UC Santa Cruz, UC Irvine, and UC Riverside. I have recieved notification of my admission to UC Santa Cruz only so far and since it is already late March, I was wondering if that meant Riverside and Irvine most likely didn't accept me.

need to know because i am trying to decide between going to UC santa cruz and UC santa barbara. I like ucsc better, but ucsb has better rankings and reputation. if i am trying to get into grad school (For instance for biology or med school- i don't know yet) how much will it matter which school i choose (assuming i do equally well at each school)?
