Hello-

I'm a senior nursing student soon to graduate. I have determined through all my clinical experience that I do not enjoy bedside nursing. I have also determined that I would not enjoy pharmacuetical sales, nurse practitioner, public health nurse, teaching, or nursing management.

So my question is: What can I do with my Bachelors degree in nursing other than the above? I know there has to be something else it can be used for...but I cant think of anything. Please let me know any suggestions you might have!!

Thanks!

I'm considering going to university but I have looked at the entry requirements and it states that I need 5 GCSE passes at grade C including maths and english, which I dont have. I have done a GNVQ to get onto A-Level which i was told it is the equivalent to 5 GCSE passes at grade C but this doesn't include maths or english. Hopefully I will get the right UCAS points but concerned about the GCSE requirements. Is there a way around this? I am doing 3 A2 level courses with the GNVQ pass. Should the University be asking for the GCSE passes if the college accepts the GNVQ as 5 GCSE passes?

Sorry about the length of this question......

Thanks.

I'm a Junior in high school and we're now beginning the college registration process. I've been looking at colleges such as the University of Tennessee and Middle Tennessee State University. Our principal totally freaked me out today when he started talking about all of these approaching events. Currently, I stand at a 3.2 GPA and I haven't taken the ACT yet. Even though my grades are decent, I still can't shake the feeling of failing miserably(it's been this way since Freshman year). Any comments that would give me solace would be profoundly appreciated.

I've applied and interviewed at a school for my Psy.D. (Clinical Psychology). The program accepts up to 27 people per year and interviewed roughly 75-80. I was just informed that I am on the alternate list. I'm wondering what my realistic odds are for acceptance. I know it depends on financial aid, rejections, etc. My question is how OFTEN does someone reject a grad school. Do I have a 50/50 chance, or more like a 10% chance? Anyone know?

Also - is it common to find out BEFORE the April 15th deadline, or do schools wait until the deadline passes to assess the situation?

I want to write an PhD thesis on animated feature-length films starting with Disney's 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs', and then through the whole history of animation, concentrating on animated feature-length films from Disney, Disney/Pixar, DreamWorks, Aardman, and so on. I would like to concentrate on various aspects of animation, e.g. language and its impact on children (but not only), or methodology (how to use animated feature-length films to teach English to foreigners). Can anyone please suggest a reasonable title of such thesis and/or any ideas concerning my field of research?
