All 3, believe it or not, you can do all three...
When you go to college, depending on your major, you will be able to study abroad for a semester or two(that's your travel, and oh, not to mention Spring Breaks!).
During summer terms, you can intern (that's earning extra cash).
By the time you graduate from college, you would have been almost all around the world and earned money too, and at the end walk away with your hard-earned degree, talk about employers competing for you!

What you do depends a lot on what your priorities are. There's nothing wrong with gaining some life experience! Choose your path and live with no regrets. If travel is important to you, my opinion is this: do your adventuring now - there may be less time for it later. If your heart isn't into the idea of starting college right now, you might not last anyway... and I'm assuming you are having some doubts or you probably wouldn't be asking this question. Going to college right off doesn't exactly guarantee to set you onto the fast track to life... even after you graduate. You may have a struggle afterward trying to figure out what to do with your degree... which I suppose might give you some time for travel ~smile~
Some may think this is bad advice. But ultimately your decision should be YOUR decision because you are the one that will live it. Don't let anyone pressure you into choosing one way or the other. If you truly want an education, college will be there when you're ready - whether that's now or later.
Do you have a scholarship?

Definetly college. There are so many more job oppertunities when you go to college. So many more people will want to hire you if you go to college and get a degree. If you just travel all the time, by the time you are going to settle down and like have a family how are you gonna get a job? Are you just gonna go flip burgers at the local mcdonalds?
College is definetly the best direction to go!
Hope I helped! :)

College...because its easier to stick with at this point in your life than if you have other priorities that take precedence such as house payments/family/etc. I'm 29 and I'm going back to school again...but its harder this time around because of the length of time since I last studied. Its easier when you're still in the school type of mindset because you already have study habits down and the knowledge is still fresh in your mind. You could try waiting a few years, but it may prove to be difficult in more ways than one.
Whatever you decide- I hope things go well for you!

Long term - college. Not as immediately gratifying and much harder but you will have vacations off and can travel then, if you like. If you want to have enough money to DO anything later in life, though, college is an absolute must.
