I found a website that would bundle the two books up and cannot remember the name I have looked at so many trying to find the cheapest one. Does anyone know of a website that bundles books to save money? I would appreciate any help you can offer.

When you pursue a Major/Minor combination...what kind of recognition are you given regarding the Minor? It's probable that different universities have different ways of accreditation (I go to a Canadian university - Toronto), but what are your experiences?
It doesn't show up on your diploma, does it?
Is it a separate certificate? I didn't think so...
Is it just something that you verbalize?

I've always wondered.

Today, we had a guy named Josh come to my school and talk about this college he was from: PCC (Pensacola Christian College). It sounds really good, even though it's in Florida, and I'm from Wyoming. Has anyone heard of it before?? If so, what did you hear about it? I've visited their site, and it's really impressive. Any information on this college would be great! I have two years of High School left, and they're going fast! Thanks a lot!

Please help...

I'm up there test score wise (compositeof 30 on the ACT upper 75% for that school) and at the lower third GPA wise (3.0). I got a rejection letter last week. And I'm not saying that they have to accept me or that I'm the most prospective student. However, I also don't think my application was taken into serious consideration. I sent my app online and then later sent my essay, letters of rec, and copies of volunteer work in via fax, which even though i called to confirm they never responded to tell me whether they had received them or not. Futhermore, on my official transcript it says that i got a "20" on the ACT because that's what i got my JR. year, i was sick that day and knew i didn't do well so i took it the next time they offered it and got a composite of 30. I had those scores sent to the school but i dont know if they even took those into account. Should i just let this go or should i setup a meet w/ an admission officer to reevaluate everything with all the correct documents?

At my college we have a dress code and It's businese attire. Us students do not like the dress code, we rather dress in our normal cloths so we can be comfortable.

I'v asked and the reason we have the dress code is to teach us how to dress for our future jobs. When I think that, I think "what?" "How does that work?"...I'v never heard anyone say that they wish they learned how to dress professionally. To me it's not something you learn, you just do it. Know what I mean.

anyways...

any ideas or suggestions on what I can do about this dress code?

My main problem is that they are sending people home and making them miss class that WE pay for. We pay for our education, and we pay a lot! and it's bringing moral down at school, it feels like the administration is against us.

I'm a high school junior who has her heart set on attending either Princeton or Yale. I have a 4.6 G.P.A. (4.1 ***), I have lettered as a varsity track runner for 3 years, and I'm involved in multiple clubs at my school, and I am president/co-president of three. I also do volunteer work. I'm the typical teenage-student, so how do I get into a place that looks for unique qualities? (I do realize that my schools are dreams, and yes I have other options, but any advice would be great.) Thanks!

In other words, are they things you use
every day, or are they part of your general
background.

Or maybe you studied elsewhere .... like private classes in pottery or studied under a gardener ... or private language instruction... ?

What would you recommend to others?

does that mean that if i have a 2.0 GPA right now, and i start getting A's and B+'s in my classes junior or senior year, it won't help my GPA much?
