I'm interested in either mechanical or chemical engineering. What do you think would be the better choice/more interesting?? Which would have better career options/more intersting career options?

It depends on what you would like to do and which classes you want to take. Mechanical engineers deal with a lot of minute detail about machinery (analyzing different types of screws, for instance) while chemical engineering mainly deals with chemicals and their industrial uses. Both would have a lot of career potential.

So what do you like better, chemistry or mechanics?

If I were you I would choose chemical engineering.......I like chemistry more than mechanics and stuff. Neither one of them is better than the other, it all depends on what you like. The pay is almost the same chemical http://swz.salary.com/salarywizard/layouthtmls/swzl_compresult_national_EN04100086.html

mechanical http://swz.salary.com/salarywizard/layouthtmls/swzl_compresult_national_EN04100074.html
I would also recommend you to read the "job description" at the bottom of the two pages I sent you.

Any one of those majors is a good one.

I mean, only really smart people major in either of those.

So its pretty much up to you.

You can do anything with a type of education like that.

Go and do whichever you think you'd be better at and like more. That is the important thing.
