I have to give a presentation of a science subject in class in 3 weeks time, and I don't have any idea of what should I choose as a subject. It should be a science subject, from physics to chemistry to biology, but it musn't be too technical, and it should be interesting so as not to bore people who're gonna be listening to me for an hour.

I'm really interested in medicine, and I would love to present a Medicine subject, but I'm not a medic student so I don't really know what subject would be the most interesting.

i hope anyone can help me, any ideas?

if it isn;t medicine, it's ok too. as long as you think it will arouse people's curiosity and they will pay attention to me during that one hour. thank u.

So I nearly failed an essay. I know it isn't a huge deal but I tried really hard and I'm having a really hard time with doing poorly. Any suggestions for over coming perfectionism and moving past?

What is the process that I should do? Will admissions be easier? Do they tend to focus more on transfering students from community colleges?

I got my acceptance for UC, Riverside. I really wanna go there, but what are some negative things about the area? I heard that it's too hot there. Is that true? I currently live in Los Angeles. Are there truly not much to do even in the busiest areas? I haven't been to the place. So, please explain how it is like being there.

i have been out of college for 3 years now and i would like to go back and finish my degree. i work full time now so i know that my classes with clash with my work schedule. believe it or not i only have 6 credits left to go to obtain my ba in psychology. i could take weekend college and have psy as minor but then i would have to change my major, im thinking to community leadership and development but i dont want to lose my credits. i submitted a re-admitt form and i am awaiting information from the advising office. has anyone done anything like this before? i feel kinda bad for only having to finish 6 credits but i had some troubled things happen so i took a leave of absence now i want to go back.

I have recently applied to graduate school for Architecture and out of the 5 schools i applied to 2 have already said NO. I am worried and starting to second guess myself.
I graduated with a 3.54 GPA in Art HIstory and I thought i had a good portfolio and very good recommendation letters.
However my GRE scores were not very good.
I can barely take this long wait anymore.......
Any words of wisdom would be appreciatted.
and how heavily are the GRE's weighted if my GPA was pretty good?

I'm 23, I work full-time ,and go to school part-time (and sometimes less than that). I've been in college since 2005 and I want to get my BS in Biology, but because of my schedule I can only take one class at a time.

It will probably take me 8 years to finish if I include summer sessions...and I'll be in my 30s by then. Seems like an awful long time to be in school, and I think it's the fact I'll be over 30 when I'm done.

Am I crazy, or am I doing the right thing by sticking with it regardless of how long it takes?
