What is the process that I should do? Will admissions be easier? Do they tend to focus more on transfering students from community colleges?

Every school doesn't have that many transfer spots. While it's possible to transfer from a UC to another UC, it is VERY rare. They reserve the overwhelming majority of their limited transfer spots to kids from community colleges.

If you want to go to a better UC, go to a CC for a couple of years and then transfer. Don't go to UCR and then hope to transfer.

It is possible to be transfer to another UC campus. First pick which college you want to transfer to because a lot of the UC's have different twists to admissions that others might not have. You should contact the transfer center on campus to see what you need. Most of the UC's require that you have a junior standing (60-90 semester units or 90-135 quarter units) and you must not be in senior standing (that's a whole other story!). I know that UCI and Merced are open to other standings, but it really matters on the term. Other UC's will be open if they have below average interest in a certain concentration. (Look at first source for open and closed majors per campus). It is true that community colleges get priority, especially to UCLA because LA offers many transfer agreements between the CC's. It is possible, don't let anyone discourage you because most of the transfer administrators can be quite harsh, and good luck!

It's possible to transfer from almost anywhere to almost anywhere else, if you meet the admissions requirements. If you're already a student at one UC campus, you should have good odds of being allowed to transfer to another UC campus. But why don't you ask the school officials about this? They would be a much better source of information than this website. Or go directly to the UC websites and look for the information there.
