I have to give a presentation of a science subject in class in 3 weeks time, and I don't have any idea of what should I choose as a subject. It should be a science subject, from physics to chemistry to biology, but it musn't be too technical, and it should be interesting so as not to bore people who're gonna be listening to me for an hour.

I'm really interested in medicine, and I would love to present a Medicine subject, but I'm not a medic student so I don't really know what subject would be the most interesting.

i hope anyone can help me, any ideas?

if it isn;t medicine, it's ok too. as long as you think it will arouse people's curiosity and they will pay attention to me during that one hour. thank u.

I think medical topics from the news are interesting to most people.

Do prions. They are proteins that cause mad cow disease.

Or, H5N1 bird flu. Or nutrition (like Atkins diet pro and con, or how foods like chocolate can be healthy).

An interesting and informative subject would be on the drug extacy. The drug alone is a combination of science with its chemical structure (chemestry), affecting the user (biology), and the motor skills of the user as well (physics). You can inform and persuade your audience to stay away from this drug.

How about the anatomy of a pig verses a human? Number of bones etc. Things that show a contrast and those alike in the human body. When I took nursing class we dissected a pig.
