When you pursue a Major/Minor combination...what kind of recognition are you given regarding the Minor? It's probable that different universities have different ways of accreditation (I go to a Canadian university - Toronto), but what are your experiences?
It doesn't show up on your diploma, does it?
Is it a separate certificate? I didn't think so...
Is it just something that you verbalize?

I've always wondered.

In most schools in the US, neither majors nor minors are mentioned on the diploma.

Both majors and minors are indicated on the transcript.

i'm a theist, and characteristic continuously been very curious a pair of extensive form of religious ideals and philosophies. i do no longer think of that interest is constrained fullyyt to believers. it may be that many atheists even have actual questions approximately particular religious ideals and practices. in view that that's a talk board on faith and spirituality, that's a good place to seek for solutions to such questions, no longer from some chilly encyclopedia, yet from honestly practitioners of those religions. additionally, most of the atheists i understand have frolicked analyzing faith, to the element that they have got examine the Bible, Koran, and fairly some different religious texts, and might debate them fairly skillfully. yet another subset of atheists could be right here to sell atheism, this is their splendid. i think of there are as many motives for being right here, no count if one is a theist or atheist, as there are individuals in this talk board.

yes your minor should show up on your graduation certificate and your transcript. what kind of recognition do you get? well, that depends on what kind of grades you get. other than that, you can certainly put it on your resume, or use it in the future, if you find an opportunity.
