I graduated from undergrad aug '05, and I don't plan on attending graduate school for at least another year, maybe longer. My question is, how do I get three letters of recommendation (which is what most schools ask for) when I will no longer have contact with any of my old professors? I am taking a break from school to try my hand at starting a writing career, therefore when I do go back to school, I won't have any real professional contacts who could write recommendations either. What do I do?

I like IT, computers, technology, math (algebra and calc), finance, business, economics, sociology, english.... I hate science (all sciences), geometry and trig, marketing. I would like to work in an office type job dealing with IT and some sort of management. I'm not too worried about salary, although I would like to be making over 80k a year. I was thinking an MIS major would be good, what do you think?

I would really appreciate if anybody could tell me which are the requirements for an international student, since i don´t know that much about the admission programs of US Universities; i would like to get into Princeton (as my first choice for an undergraduate degree) or Stanford (for a master´s in astro/aeronautical engineering). I am currently in college so i wonder if they require students to apply during their high school period.
I would also like to hear your opinions about my academic status because i am not quite sure if it is very relevant, however i am very confident about being totally able to study in these universities. I am 18 and have a private pilot license with an instrument rating, i speak spanish, german, french, english (a bit of russian), i am on my first year in mechanical engineering, i play some sports as well and i got a rating in aviation mechanics.
.. what if i haven´t been at the top of my class but i get the highest scores in the SATs?
