Colleges look for jobs which are related to your prospective major. For example, if you wanted to major in pre-law, it might be a good idea to find a job as a secretary in a law office or something like that. Or if you wanted to be a teacher, maybe a baby-sitter or working in a children's clothing store? That way, not only could you earn money, you would be able to discover if your field of interest really suits you.

Work experience would round out your resume of extracurriculars. However, try to find something you excel at. Even though being involved in an eclectic mix of activities shows you are versatile, try to showcase a particular strength.

Good luck!! :]

Your extra curriculars are impressive and will help you on your application if you decide not to work. The reason colleges like to see some work experience is first, it tells them you can manage time well and have ambition and drive. Secondly they love for students to bring in real work world experience to attach to their learning.
