is your GPA wieghted? Or not on a 4 pt scale? Just wondering how its over 4.0. Pre Med and teaching are kinda far apart, but I would suggest majoring in Biology, which will allow you to go to med school or go on to get a secondary degree to be abe to teach (you dont need to major in education to be a teacher, nessecarily) Or talk to your advisor, but I think you could find one major that would allow you to do either. Also, think about states you WOULD want to go to, and some you wouldnt. Think about distance from home, different cultural areas (north vs south, east vs west, etc...you may be surprised at how uncomfortbale you may feel at a drastic change) I personally like using collegeboard.com to help get a start at looking, they will search for schools based on your preferences (cost, private vs public, major, extra curriculars, etc) Its great you're getting a head start on it! Also, you may want to re-take the SATs (1160 is ok, but you're gonna want higher for a pre med program) and think about taking the ACTs, which some schools require/prefer. Also, if your school offers and AP classes, you may want to take them. I think your best bet for affordable AND good will be state universitys, many of which offer good educations at half or less what you'd pay a private school. Save the Big Name schools for grad school, when they will typically give you much more financial aid.

confident there some faculties in which you would be able to take those forms of training, yet they're frequently the community college ones. 4 year college ones require a form, probable money to coach, and essays. I had taken a cake adorning type as quickly as at an area college. And confident, I did meet my companion in school. It replaced into our freshman year at Michigan State college. we are meant for another!

Seeing that your GPA and scores are that high, you probably could get into anywhere you want.
With your GPA, there are probably a lot of academic scholarships you're eligible for (whether it be from the college or from the government).

There was actually this girl in my high school (now a freshman in college) who got a full scholarship to Notre Dame because of her swimming ability (she also was smart in school, but what really got ND going was the swimming).

So remember, the sky's the limit with scholarships (and there are scholarships for literally everything...community service, sports, academics, and at some private colleges religion - if your religion matches the college's religious affiliation).

Look for a college that you will enjoy. The University of Michigan-Ann Arbor is a top ranked school in the nation. If you are undecided about a specific major look for a college or a university that offers both programs of study that you are intrested in. Overall, best of luck to you in the future and I am sure you will make the best choice for yourself, even though it is hard. Good Luck.

There are so many good choices. You should determine which factors are most important to you. For example location, availability of your major, extra curricular activities, etc. Then look at the colleges that most fit your needs and choose between them.

Indiana University has a great medical school and is always listed as one of the top partying schools in the US. However, I do believe their medical school is at their Indianapolis campus and all the partying is usually at their main campus in Bloomington, IN. It would be worth a look at their web site.
