I have a poor undergrad GPA(2.01) and I am trying to get into grad school for couseling psychology. I have been turned down at my top choice and I am looking for tips on how to improve my application other than work experience, which I have an abundance of. My GRE scores are high, but I can't seem to get into an interview to prove myself. Does anyone have any hints?

I'll be going in XII standard in Apr. I already receive postal course for AIEEE from BT. I want to give the exam for IIT too. Should I take a postal course for IIT too or the AIEEE books would be ok ?

okay. this sounds very pessimistic....but i am seriously not good at anything!! and i really need to choose my major. i HATE working in offices. and i am really starting to hate working in call centers. i want a job with more freedom...less boundaries and repetition after i graduate. i am NOT good at math, science, writing, anything physical, art...like anything!!

i am thinking maybe sociology? psychology? would i be able to find jobs in those fields....but NOT be a social worker?? i want to make like $60,000 i think.

I love music. Computers are pretty cool but I get kinda annoyed with that. Dance is my passion, and I mean Ciara type stuff, not ballet. I like to sing. I like to write poetry. I like to write period. Most of the things Im interested in are not all that profitable so Im looking for a major that will incorporate my interest and still give me a pretty damn good paycheck.

Hi, I m not a pure graduate i.e i dont have any bachalour degree, but i m equivalence to graduate i.e 10+2+3.
10 = SSC
12 = HSC & then
3 yrs of Diploma In Information Technology. from MSBTE(Maharashtra state Board of Technical Education) from Polytechnic.
I want to know wether i m eligible to appear for CAT.

There is one instructor that has been particularly helpful and inspiring to me throughout my education. I am set to graduate in May and would like to present him with something small yet meaningful in appreciation of him going out of his way several times to assist me in my studies. I'm a freshmen in high school but there are so many reauirments for college. What do you do in college. Is it all about learning? Are there summer vacations? What are the teachers like? Does everybody have a car? When do you start the day off when do you end? What happends when you don't like your room mate if thats what they call it? If you are applying to a U.S. university for a graduate place how much more likely will you be to get a place if you are funding yourself? Consider also that this is a business school that requires a gmat score of 550 minimum and the person applying has only got 400. Is it still possible to get into the school if your bachelors degree and gmat score are well below average but you are paying your own way? The application is for a masters program at a lower ranked U.S. university.
