Which one is best for a Biology degree? I'm probably going to get my bachelor's (of science or arts) of Biology and then go on to get my master's. What are some of the benefits of going to a technical school and going to a liberal arts school with science and arts degrees respectively?

I recently relocated to the DFW area because my husband got a new job here, but I still need to finish my Bachelor's degree in History. So far, the University of North Texas and Texas Woman's University have more appeal than the other schools I have looked at because they would only require me to complete 30 hours at their institutions in order to graduate (which is really about all I will need) versus the 60-66 I have seen elsewhere. Additionally, I am thinking about getting a master's degree in library science, which both of these schools offer. I have not yet visited either campus or been informed if and how my previous college credits will transfer. My final decision will probably be based mostly on financial aid, but I would appreciate your thoughts on both campuses, especially on their history and women's studies programs.

IHi everybody:?

I am trying to decide whether to get a Master in Physician Assistant Studies or a Doctor in Physical therapy degree. I do have all the prerequisites for both programs but would like to get some advice into which one will make a better career choice as far as compensation, opportunities and job outlook.

Thank you in advance to all of the great people out there that would be helping me to make my decision.

I dropped out of high school when I was 14, however I did receive my GED later that year, and went on to vocational school. I am now a LPN, but I would like to go on to college and receive a degree, one that is not in the nursing field. (Now that I have the time, money, and ambition.) Should I look into SAT/ACT testing? Is it required, or will it at least benefit my college transcripts? I love learning and tests do not bother me in the slightest, so it would not be a problem to take them. Thank you, in advance, for any and all answers you can provide me with.

I am a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BFA in Art Education. I am currently teaching and I have experience in a variety of art techniques including graphic design, photography, sculpture, drawing, painting, and more. I was considering a move into business (perhaps art related but maybe not) and thought about getting my MBA from Kennesaw State University. First off, is it likely that a MBA program will even accept me? The program website said they are open to none-business degrees. My only experience in the business world is retail work and freelance graphic design. Second, what type of program would fit my prior knowledge and skills. Keep in mind, I am a highly creative person but very focused and organized, unlike many "art people."

My GED was in a file cabinet that was stolen a few years ago. I called the DOE in Oklahoma for a replacement. They told me that because my records were so old (over 30 years) they have probably been lost. They can't find it! Now what do I do? I have to have my GED to get back into college.

I do not mind going to school for a couple of years beyond these first two but want the best play off in the end. I was planning on changing majors but I am not for sure? I think this degree can be of benefit to me and I am enjoying these business courses. I want this degree to really work for me in the future?!

I plan on transferring to one of these schools from a community college. My career goal lies in the field of Finance or Investment Banking, and I plan on pursuing MBA at top 10 Business Schools.

I know that overall, Berkeley is the most prestigious and well known school out of the three, but UCLA's BizEcon program (I like the idea of having economics and business combined together. That's like mastering theoretical-based studing and technical training at the same time) and USC's Business Admin. (Trojan network is unignorable plus USC's Undergrad. Biz Program is extremely strong) are also quite tempting.

If I were to choose either UCLA or USC, will I have significantly harder time getting a job at a top-player I-bank or Finance Firm than if I were to choose Berkeley?

While some people say the difference is negligible and the only difference is location, many people say going to Berkeley will give me an upperhand in getting a "better" job.

What's your suggestion?
