USF isn't a medical school. That's UCSF (altho it has more than just medical).

USF is this tiny private Jesuit college. Just a so-so rep. In a decent part of town.

I have no idea if it has exchange students there. It seems like a bizarre reason to pick this tiny school. I really can't see too much of a reason to go there unless offered some kind of scholarship. Otherwise, go to a UC. Cheaper and much better rep. The UCs usually have Japanese exchange students. I know UCI has some partnership with a couple other schools, one being a Japanese college where exchanges are done.

I believe that University of San Francisco is a medical school. There is also San Francisco state university where there are many exchange students.
