Excessive work, or truly good college prep?

It depends on how well the teachers use the program. My middle school did IB the way it was meant to be, and I loved it. In high school it was just extra busy work.

Looking back, I would prefer AP because it gives you college credit so you don't have to take basic freshman courses.

I am in the high school IB and it is a lot of work but in the end it will benefit you because you will be used to the work and also learn how to balance your activities with academics.
