Is it only for undergraduates who have already been accepted, and have either deferred or are transferring their course? Or can new students apply - and how?

G'day,

Quite a number of courses (mainly Arts and Business) are offered for July intake in Australian universities for new students to apply, either for undergraduate or postgraduate. The best way is to find out what course that you want to study, which university that you want to study in and check their website for mid-year intake availability.
You can check the website of IDP Education Australia (www.idp.edu.au) to find out abt the Australian universities. IDP is an organisation that gives information to international students who want to continue their study to Australia.

How to apply... simply fill in the application form, and send it together with certified copy of your academic transcripts (in English and original language). The assessment usually takes abt 1-2 weeks, depending on the time of the year.

Hope this helps. Please e-mail me on mikegun@studentfirst.com.au if you have any further queries. Good luck for your future studies and welcome to Australia :)
