I'll be going in XII standard in Apr. I already receive postal course for AIEEE from BT. I want to give the exam for IIT too. Should I take a postal course for IIT too or the AIEEE books would be ok ?

HI,
I AM A DROPPER PREPARING FOR IIT. IIT & AIEEE BOTH ARE ENTRANCE EXAMS.DIFFRENCE BW THEM IS THAT IIT JEE IS 90% CONCEPTUALLY BASED & 10% FORMULA BASED. WHILE AIEEE IS 50% CONCEPT BASED & 50% FORMULA BASED. BESIDE THAT SYLLABI OF BOTH OF THEM IS DIFFERENT. SYLLABUS OF AIEEE IS MORE THAN IIT.

I THINK IT IS SUFFICIENT FOR U & HOPE U WILL CHOOSE CORRECT STREAM FOR U.

IIT is the permium Engineering college with very limitted seats.
AIEEE has many colleges and many seats. It the 2nd best after IIT.
90% who appear for the first roun of IIT enterence fail. In 2006 2,58,000 appeared for IIT. They take less than 2000 per year.
Where as even if you get 30,000+ rancking in AIEEE you have chance to join a fairly good college.

IIT questions will be harder than AIEEE.,

but all the books will cover the same syllabus...

For IIT,AIEEE ...exams u should be strong in the concepts & basics...

they wont ask u the same questions which is in ur books in iit ,aieee ...exams...

if u have money buy books for IIT also...but those concepts will be same in both COURSE MATERIALS with slight changes...

if u dont have money ..then no need to buy iit books also...AIEEE materials is enough...

All the best!!
