better college?

Question

so im thinking of going out of state to one of these colleges:
University of Florida
University of Alabama
Auburn University
Notre Dame
University of Miami

which one do you think is a better college
1. for acidemics
2. for fun
3. for a well rounded college experience

i need help choosing!

Start by thinking about WHAT you want to study and which school is strong for that subject and major. You can't simply compare academics across the board to have any meaningful answer. Any of those schools might be great overall but if you want to study "underwater basketweaving" and their program is weak in that subject, then you don't want to go there.

For fun? If you select a school that fits you then it will probably be fun if you are open to new experiences, excited about developing new relationships, and mature in balancing your commitments and your studies with your leisure activities. (Have you actually visited each campus? That'll tell you alot that you need to know.)

Well rounded has more to do with you than with the school. You can attend the most exciting place on earth, but if you sit in your dorm room, constantly IM or call or go back home to hang with your high school friends, and neglect to go to concerts, speakers, theater, (and all your classes) then it'll be a bleak experience. Try new things. Read the college catalog and find a few unique classes that you want to take just because they sound interesting even if they don't seem to have anything to do with your major.

then if chosen for one or more.. then make decision
colleges are getting more discriminating and choosing their own State individuals over out of state applicants
