Ok so I want to be a pharmacist. Everyone says I could be a doctor b/c I'm good at math & science, but I practically faint at the sight of blood. So I thought pharmacist was the next best career choice haha.

Anyways we're always having to do these career planning packets & stuff at my school so I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the education, college credits & classes, ect. required to get a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Also, do you think West Virginia University has a good pharmacy program ? And how much can I expect to make ? Thanks so much!

I'm a Freshman, and am set on double-majoring in GERMAN and INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS. There isn't too much information on the web on how good it looks on an Application. My ultimate goal is to work for a company in Germany, and live there after college. Will these majors, (and internships) be enough to just go over there and get a job? Please help, I would kill to accomplish this, and want to know if my plan will work with this.
I go to Illinois State University

the college I'm interested in has a moderate amount of university degree programs. It's cheaper, and easier to get in, also, it features paid co-op terms which is really easier to get in as opposed to university paid co-ops terms (like how you must acquire precise measurements to their expectations). and colleges are usually 30% practical and 70% theoretical, i would say that when i finish college, i would have twice the success rate as any university student because of my experience of work and high grades (one thing that it's a bit easier than university and I'm a very hard worker) earning myself a place in the honours. So is this good? BUT, I HAVE A PROBLEM, lol. I'm asian, and my parents are fierce about the subject of 'college' as oppose to university.

I have a degree in Psychology and have studied both Japanese and Chinese and have a interest in the history of and relationships between Asian countries. It's now obvious that Political Science is where Psychology and Asian studies meet, but I didn't realize that at the time and have never taken a Political Science course. I would like to study the effect of the power struggle for influence in Asia between China and Japan is affecting the rest of Asia.
Is it possible to first enter an Asian Studies program for a Masters and then switch to a PhD in International Relations or is it at all possible to enter a PolySci program as is?

I am a sophomore in high school, and have a 3.44 GPA (3.55 weighted). I didn't really try or study for the PSAT, but I did pretty good, or above average (165). I have only taken one honors class. I played frosh and jv football, but probably not going to play next year. I also do track. I am also officer in a club. I have done about 50 community service hours. I will probably take a couple AP classes next year, and an honors. Princetonreview.com said I am a 100 % "good match" for schools like Dartmouth, Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, etc. Is this information accurate? If it is not, could you please recommend a college? I am a very driven, maybe insecure, type of guy. I am also pretty friendly. But some people don't really like me. Oh, ya, I'm also Hispanic and live near Los Angeles, CA. Thank you for your help.

I am at the moment a student at City College, and am uncertain about transferring to Hunter College. Yet City College has not been my first college; one year past, I attended Queens College but had to change residence to Manhattan; I then decided not to continue my studies at Queens because of its great distance from my new home. But I must admit, I cannot stand City College: the quality of education there is terrible, in general, and the political science program (my chosen major) is not very good.

Separately, all three of the aforementioned colleges belong to the City University of New York.

Question (as posted above, but more specific): I am curious whether a third college will harm my chances concerning admission to graduate school.

I want to be a paralegal b/c I want to work in the legal world but I dont want to be a lawyer. I want to go to a 4-year university/college but what if that university don't have Paralegal Studies as a major? Is there another route? I'm a senior in High School and I'm trying to decide what college to attend. (I admit, I'm starting a bit late.) Not that there's anything bad about a 2-year college, I want to go to a 4-year college and eventually get my masters. ADVICE ON EVERYTHING WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

My room mate is looking to make a few extra bucks, and has resorted to scouring Craigslist for research studies. She found one being conducted in the local university's sleep lab (we live in the Bay Area), and has gone through one screening process. There are no drugs involved (my understanding is that she will have one interview, then 4 nights of sleeping in the lab with electrodes stuck to her head to monitor her brain waves, stretched over a few week period), so she's totally on board. I think she should be fine, but I was wondering if anyone else out there has taken part in such studies, and are there any questions she should ask?For example, should she ask for a copy of the study and its findings upon completion of the research? Are there things she should not disclose about herself? Is there a website abouth this type of thing that I can refer her to? Any help would be appreciated. I'm sure it's totally on the level, but I'd feel better about her if we knew more.

I'm looking to move to the Denver area in about two years... what kinds of colleges do you have? I know here in California we have two systems: the UC (Univ. of CA) and the CSU (Cal State Univ.). The UC's are drastically more expensive, often have higher entrance requirements, while the CSU's are a little cheaper and still offer the same courses. I am looking for more of the CSU type universities, and any decent junior colleges in the Denver area. This would be for a comp sci degree... help? thanks! :)

They lecture non-stop about the horrors of inter-racial relationships. And there have been horrors. But they act as iff every white man is a potential KKK member and every non-white is a potential victim.

Everyone is not a racist.

Currently Im in an argument about this with my parents, do colleges look at semester or nine weeks grades, I myself just thought they looked at GPA, and if they looked at grades at all semester because thats what the GPA is based off of, the average of both nine weeks, if Im wrong please correct me if Im wrong and I will keep my mouth shut about it, but I myself think Im am right, can someone help me here. And yes I know colleges arent just looking for grades, but they are important and thats why I am in IB, International Bacculareate Program.
