I'm a Freshman, and am set on double-majoring in GERMAN and INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS. There isn't too much information on the web on how good it looks on an Application. My ultimate goal is to work for a company in Germany, and live there after college. Will these majors, (and internships) be enough to just go over there and get a job? Please help, I would kill to accomplish this, and want to know if my plan will work with this.
I go to Illinois State University

It sounds like a plan.

You need to check with German immigration authorities. You cannot just move to Germany and start working. You need to contact them and see what kinds rules and regulations they have. The Germans are very strict about immigration.

Lots of people want to move to Germany.

It's good you set a goal, a plan to achieve it and you are actually working on your goal. I think you have made very wise decisions. I would also suggest that you do some summer internships with multinational companies especiallly those with businesses in Germany. After you graduate, get at least 2 years experience, while doing an MBA part-time. By the time you are done with the 2 years, you will have finished or be close to finishing your MBA.

The experience you gain and the MBA will make you a more attractive employee that any German company wouldn't refuse to hire you. This way you will also be able to have your pick of the cream of the crop. Not to mention, you'll also be speaking German fluently by the time you complete your degrees. Good luck, you are making great choices, All the best!

Do you have an EU passport? If not, can you get one? Why would a German company want to hire an American when a German or someone from the EU can do the job for them? Then again, maybe you want to work for an American company in Germany, that would make more sense.

Can you accomplish this? Sure. Why not?

Have you studied abroad in Germany? Look to see what programs your school offers, and try a semester or year program over there and see if you can make connections with professors or potential empoloyers. It sounds to me like you're on the right track!
