I reside in queens NYC. I have a high school diploma. what do i have to do to become a plebotomist? do i have to go to a community college?

is the training & certification two seperate things? How long does it take to get the training & certification I would need? Is the pay good?

Is there anything else out there (that i may be over looking) with decent pay that doesnt take over a year to become certified in?

any good websites of interest? i keep getting websites that want me to sign up with them for more information - i dont want that. i'm just looking for information.

The one leaving NYC would be a bit closer, if you figure in the length of each train. The two engines (front) would be the same distance at the point of meeting, but the one from NYC would have the rest of the train behind it, which would make it closer.

I know someone who was trained in plebotomy on Long Island. She said the money was lousy. I think about $8 to $10 an hour. She returned to her old job of cutting hair in a salon.

I presume you mean phlebotomy. If in addition to getting phlebotomy training you alos get some nurse assistant training or technical training of some kind you will be better remunerated and more employable. Pure phlebotomy per se is not well paid

Phlembotomists don't get paid well enough anywhere in this country. Consider another career.
