They lecture non-stop about the horrors of inter-racial relationships. And there have been horrors. But they act as iff every white man is a potential KKK member and every non-white is a potential victim.

Everyone is not a racist.

I feel your pain.

Its tough being a white male in a sociology class if the prof is an ex-hippy.

What school do you go to? I am a baby boomer and know many others. Very rarely do I meet a racist unless they keep it very well hidden. Maybe they work for the government. It seems as though if the government can keep us fighting each other over race relationships, they can keep our minds off important issues facing the US due to the blunders of politicians.
BTW...I am white, have had wonderful relationships with men of color (Native American, Mexican), and have a beautiful mixed race son (26 years old). I, and many others like me, have worked hard to prevent racism, bigotry, and sleaze-balls like the KKK.
Maybe you should talk to the heads of the school and let them know how you feel about the professors who appear bigoted.

no no no no. they are just talking about the struggles that people endured .im a boomer and i was right there as things went down.. and it was different but you will find the older people not the boomer s with more prejudice .. its just they were from the old school. If a boomer talks about what happened they pretty much are just stating facts not trying to keep hate alive .none of us want that and most are trying to still shape a world of caring and giving and helping your friends and fellow humans instead of hating them. at least all the ones I know ..

if you are an adult, you have a choice of what you need want and desire to learn........yeah?! what i'm trying to discern is do you own what is called discretion?!

what you have stated here, in your question, is hearsay at best. and why would you, then, want to spread that hate further?

stereotyping is a lethal practise, to say the least, which has wide spread consequences through people you don't even know. if you must relieve yourself of a stink bomb like this please be considerate of others and at least go to the bathroom.

uh deep down everyone harbors fear and resentment of those who are different from them. It is our ability to supress these negatives that makes us good people as well as our ability to accept these factors in others thank you

What are you talking about? I NEVER had a professor like that. What kind of weirdo school do you attend, anyway? :-)
