I am planning to take the lsat, but first i want to make sure which is the best lsat course to take out there. Which course would be suitable for someone who scores in the low 140's? I want to improve my score to at least a 160+ and so I want to know which course is right for me.

Every seat other than the ones in merit are sold at an exhorbitant price with the management. Shame on the college management who ask so openly. It is better they give some aptitude tests at a college level where parents are also invited . The result is also displayed immediately.

Columbia (ranked #3 in the nation, expensive)
Hunter (ranked top 10, very affordable)
NYU (ranked top 15, expensive, but has offered me money)

I would LOVE a degree from Columbia, but with social work schools, I've heard that it doesn't MATTER where your degree is from. The thing is, no one has heard of Hunter outside of NYC, and I was raised to go to "name brand" schools, that everyone knows.

Any input is welcome, ESPECIALLY from those with MSWs!

I'm scheduled to take the LSAT in June and I'm planning on signing up for a preparation course. I've done a lot of research and narrowed it down to Kaplan's, Princeton Review's, and Testmasters. I'm looking to spend at most $1500. I'm looking for opinions based on experience on which one I should use. I've never taken the test. I currently have my master's degree. My undergrad g.p.a. was 3.0 and my master's a 4.0. Any advice would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!
