hi! iv been hearing many things about 'fine arts' and whilst it sounds interesting im not sure excactly what it is and what courses or unviversities there are for it. once someone has a degree in 'fine arts' what sort of careers can one persue? any answers will be of great help!

"Fine Arts" is exactly that. It's lumped together with "Humanities" these days but, what do you want to study?
What do YOU understand the term means?
If you can't answer - you're in the wrong stream - and don't belong...
Go forth and do business studies - you might get a job.
Then again, you might become a painter, sculptor or an artist or, a critic.
Or, someone who appreciates art for what it is.

I ama senior in the fine arts program at Georgian Court Univerisity-NJ
I am majoring in graphic design and illustration. Jobs are in designing print materials, as in magazine ads, flyers brochures, web design, book illustration, posters etc. You need to be artistic and creative for this major.

fine arts involve painting,sculpture making,photography,designing etc. if you are good in drawing and you have an imagination pursue it. you could become an art teacher, a graphic designer, an artcrafts estimator..it's a hard study/job but it worths it i think. Good luck!

Fine arts, as opposed to practical science in people's minds, would be like music, drawing, painting.

Well you can be a museum curator. If you are talented enough wtih arts, become another star artist.
