Wow! What a bizarre comment "Since I'm a university student attending classes is not something I like" Wow!

What are you doing there!? Why are you spending many thousands of dollars to do something you don't like. What did you go to university for? You obviously are not ready for university. Get out in the real world until you realize that university is the greatest opportunity you will ever have.

If you need motivation, try this. Take the amount of money you spent to be in school for a semester and divide it by the number of of hours you would be in classes (usually that would be 41 hours for one class). The result should be $50 to $150 per hour.

Take the money and pin it over your desk. Every time you miss class, unpin the money and flush it down the toilet. Yes, take it and flush it down. That will remind you exactly what you are doing when you sleep through a class. After you flush it down, don't forget to replace it for the next class you miss. I don't think you could do that very many times without getting motivated to attend class.

I'm hoping that you're at least in a major that you enjoy...once you get into your core classes I think it'll become less of a chore and more of a pleasure.

If you're in courses that you REALLY don't need to go to class for and can still pull off a decent grade, then you really don't need to waste your time. If, however, these are courses that you kinda sorta need to actually attend to pass, you've gotta bite the bullet. Enlist a friend that you have in the course to help in encouraging you to attend...it's just like working out...some days you'll help, other days they'll help.

Think about the future you can have if you graduate from college. That might not happen if you don't attend classes regularly.

Think about the opposite....like having to slave away at a worthless minimum wage job to earn money to pay for classes for someone like you who wastes the money and doesn't attend.

Think that today the day is going to be good.
Prepare everyday for the next day i.e. before going to sleep keep your bag\ satchel ready, clothes, etc. ready.
Respect teachers.
Don't mess with the students.

Why are you going to college? Maybe you are there because someone else wants you to be there (parents would be my first guess).

College is not for everyone. Maybe you should think about a vocational school.

What do you enjoy doing?

Focus on the long term goal - a degree and a good job afterwards.

Keep your eyes on the prize.
