I want to be a paralegal b/c I want to work in the legal world but I dont want to be a lawyer. I want to go to a 4-year university/college but what if that university don't have Paralegal Studies as a major? Is there another route? I'm a senior in High School and I'm trying to decide what college to attend. (I admit, I'm starting a bit late.) Not that there's anything bad about a 2-year college, I want to go to a 4-year college and eventually get my masters. ADVICE ON EVERYTHING WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

You can go to a 2-year paralegal program, transfer to a 4-year institution and major in something else, then go to work as a paralegal. (You could even do the last 2 years of your BA/BS while working).

Although this is not the first time I've heard someone say that you could become a paralegal after 1 year of law school, I really doubt the first year of law school (mainly legal theory) prepares one to work as a paralegal (mainly the practical administration of cases). Even law school grads need A LOT of ramping-up time to learn how to work cases.

It's not true that paralegals do not go to school. Some schools do have a paralegal program. I'm not aware of which ones, but they are out there.

You can actually be a paralegal after one year in law school.

A slightly less expensive route is to go to four year school and then be certified as a paralegal. It can cost a few thousand dollars, but it's another alternative.

It might be hard to get a masters while working for a lawyer as a paralegal. I suggest you speak to a pre-law advisor at schools you're interested in and see what other opportunities or majors you can do to be involved in the legal field.

Good luck!

Most paralegals don't go to school. They are trained by the law firm and attorney where they work. Paralegals do not make much money. Legal Secretaries make more money than paralegals.

With experience, Legal Secretaries (depending on the city) make $70k-80k annually.

while you're forcing your self to no longer consume to dodge gaining weight or for the hassle-free concern of nutrition itself then you definately would desire to be having indicators of anorexia. although that's rather good which you're asking early. while you're in simple terms no longer hungry-- then perhaps you're sick or there's a reason your urge for nutrition isn't appropriate-- then you definately would desire to work out a physician. And via the way, 106 kilos is a physically powerful weight. I dont be conscious of how tall you're yet please dont enable your self get decrease than 100lbs... t hat is in simple terms too skinny. And at 106lbs-- believe me you in all probability seem super in a suit. Be greater paranoid that your ideal will fall off, lol. desire you all of the ideal!
