I am beginning my second year of univeristy doing a BA in Music and Education and I'm hating it as much as my first year. If I complete this academic year will I get any sort of diploma or qualification or just a 'see you later'? Also would I be able to pick up the course in the third year at a different uni (providing they did it of course) or would I have to start from scratch again?

Should I just do what I want to do at the risk of people thinking of me differently, or should I continue to be miserable but do what is expected of me?

The rest of my grades are good, and I took Chemistry in the first semester of my freshman year at Temple University. I plan on applying to Medical school with my bachelors in electrical engineering with bioengineering option.

i began a job at the end of the summer where everyone (though only 3 people) holds the opinion that higher education is useless and a waste of money, unless you know what you want to do. i don't know what i want to do, but i've always thought i would go to school. i like to learn. my boss says (paraphrasing) that people go to school, party, waste money, then are left with tons of loans to pay off. says it's a waste because everyone is going to college, just went because everyone else is, and the usually don't want to pursue what they majored in or dropped out. i will be paying for it almost completely alone, meaning if i were to go away to school my parents may be able to afford something like a $100/ mo allowance, but the rest is up to me. i feel discouraged by my coworkers, but maybe they're just mean. what do you think? is everyone just going to college because everyone else is, out of fear of joblessness?

I am a sophomore college, but it is too stressful for me and I feel like I am not able to get anythign done right. I miss the summer when I was working full time and able to just go to work, go home and then do whatever I wanted with the time left over. Now I have to go to class, work, meetings, do homework and barely have enough time to shower! There's just to damn much goign on all at the same time. Should I just go back to being comfortable and working full time or should I just keep trying to go on like this?

I'm in college and I keep messing up. I will be 5 minutes late for a class and will miss a quiz in those 5 minutes or I will read my syllabus wrong and will think the test is next week, when really it is tomorrow! I just can't seem to manage it all and I am missing when the summer when I was working full time. I woudl go to work, come home and then have the rest of the night to relax and do whatever I wanted. Now I have to go to class, go to meetings, go to work and then have homeowrk and studying on top of it. I can't manage it all and I feel like it woudl be a lot easier if I just dropped out and went back to working fulll time...

I wonder if there is a difference other than cost? Even if all of my credits transfer? It makes sense to me to pay less tuition for 2 years then finish my BA at a state college.
