College is more than a way to better jobs (College grads earn approx. $23,000 more a year than non grads).

The socialization benefits are worth their weight in gold. Also, as you grow older you'll find that college opens you up to a "larger world" with new interests & cultural experiances (that's a good thing).

Your ability to express yourself increases (and brings greater depth to personal relationships).

Bottom line;
If you can go...... GO!

As time goes on if you decide on getting a job with a good pay yes college is important because by the time your get out of college alot of jobs will be asking for AA or AS degrees and above. As with many jobs today a high school diploma or ged is required. Unlike way back when you didn't need a diploma just apply with good faith or work experience. So finish college no matter how bad it gets.

In the US, it's becoming more and more difficult to get a job without a college degree. At least, it's more difficult to get a job with decent pay without a college degree. So yes, if you want to live comfortably, college is usually very important. It doesn't even always matter what your degree is in.

Yes and no. It all depends on what perspective you are looking at. However, in the long run not all of us have pure luck in getting everything we want. The best way for anyone to make it in this world is to at least have a degree higer than an Associates.

If you want to be doctor/scientist/lawyer/teacher, then yes. Otherwise, probably not. Figure out what you're interested in and look up salary tables (college degree vs. high school degree) and see if it's worth the time and effort and money for you to bother.
