Ask yourself why do you want to leave college. Are you pursuing a course that holds no interest for you? If you leave now what are you going to do with your life? Do you have any marketable skills that you can use in the working world without obtaining a college diploma?
Please think carefully before you make a decision that you may regret. Do it not for anyone else but for yourself. Are YOU going to be happy at the end of the day? It's not always easy to return to college after dropping out because you keep putting it off until other issues take precedence in your life.
If leaving college will make YOU happy, THEN DO IT AND FORGET ABOUT OTHERS and remember ITS YOUR LIFE, LIVE IT WELL.
Hope you do what's right for YOU!!!

The best advice I can give you is that it's your life, and you do whatever makes you happy. I'll admit, college wasn't for me. I went for three years and didn't learn a damn thing. Everyone is different. But DO NOT stay in college just to make others happy. It's too expensive to not be 100% committed to it. It's true that you will more than likely make a lot more money with a degree. But is it worth it? For me, the answer was no. I'm much happier now. You may be the same way. Bottom line, if you don't want to do it, don't. If people judge you because you dropped out, then they obviously don't care enough about what makes you happy.

Do what makes you happy!! If you are miserable then you should get out... Why waste money doing something you do not enjoy?!
The people you feel you may hurt will understand and if not, then they can get over it.
I wasted 4 years doing a degree that I was not happy with, only to make people happy and now I'm finishing the degree that I actually wanted. And I am happy...
To hell with those that judge... You can always change your mind later in life and go back, if you choose to...
My Uncle finished his degree at the age of 45... So, it's never to late to do anything!

I agree with the below responses. I dropped out of college only after my first semester - and it was the best decision I ever made. There is something exhilarating about proving one's self - and self worth - and proving that you don't need a ridiculous piece of paper to do it. Ask yourself - What do I want to do with my life and do I need that piece of paper to do it? If the answer is 'yes' then that will motivate you to finish your studies. If the answer is 'no' then get out. You may be dropping out of college but at the same time you will be dropping in on life and there is nothing like life experience. It may be rough at first but it makes you stronger. There is a long list of successful people who dropped out of college. Just remember - its your life and you can do anything you want with it.

people who care about you accept what you feel is best for you and what makes you happy
you can't live your life for other people
it is better to be happy with people who accept you for who you are than to be miserable
no one has the right to expect anything from or judge anyone for ones choice and certainly do not want to be around a miserable person

Don't let emotions or what other people think guide you, use your head. In the *think about the future* and what you'll require then. Do you need a degree or not? If you can support yourself without a college degree, then drop out. If you need that degree to get a job that you'll need to support yourself then suck it up and stay in school.

If you are old enough to go to college you are old enough to make your own decisions regarding your life. College is not for everyone. Drop out and pursue what you want to do. You can always go back later if you want to.

well, from your question i know you have not grown up yet b/c if you have you would know that your decision/mistakes are in your own hand's it seem's best to get educated b/c you are morer likely to pick your own work, your own pay, with a degree but if you drop out you could make it. but it probably would take longer and tougher for you. i know while you are in school it seem's just a waste but it will all pay off in the end i hope you decide to stay in school if possible
