Sorry, you won't get any recognition unless you finish your program. If you transfered to a different university, you could have problems transfering your credits. You're better off just switching your major or finishing out your degree.

The above answer is only correct if the country where you are doing your studies has such a program for completing 2 years of university.
What I recommend to you is this: suck it up. You obviously wanted this degree for some reason. If you have changed your mind, switch majors and see what credits will transfer, otherwise, put your head down and finish the degree. You are not forced to work in the field that you chose in uni; you can work in other fields.
A BA in anything tells a prospective employer that you could finish something that you started. Believe me, you will regret walking away and it will be that much harder to go back.
If you wish to transfer, your credits will probably go with you, but discuss this first with any schools you may change to.
I know what I am talking about. I transferred 5 times. I started school, went for two years, took five years off working and went back and finished. It was hell trying to go back. I now have an MA and I teach at a university and I have this conversation ALL THE TIME with students.
FINISH! You will never regret it.

Hello. The college where I am studying uses the CAT points system (120 credits to complete the first year, 240 for first year added to second year and 360 total for third year) You can sign up to the full degree yet if you can only do say two years' worth then you get a Dip HE (Diploma in higher education). I tried to change to Wolverhampton University as I moved but they wouldn't accept a lot of my credit as it didn't match their syllabus for the second year, but they would have let me enter at the start of the second year. It very much depends on the rules of the uni you are at, and the uni you want to study at.

Unfortunately no, you won't get any recognition for completing two years. In terms of picking up a course somewhere else it is extremely rare if not impossible to especially in the third year. Your best option would be to contact the uni you are interested in to find out if they offer such a switch.

Contrary to the above ignorant rubbish, yes you do. You will leave with a diploma in higher education provided you have successfully completed your 2nd year.
It may be possible to complete your third year at another uni, a friend of mine did it a few years ago.
Good luck

stick with it or change your major to something you like - its horrible trying to find a job with out that stupid paper... and it doesn't matter what its for - employers look for it - even if it had nothing to do with what you are applying for
