You can easily check the details about pharmacy schools by searching online.

Pharmacy school takes four years. You have to do at least two years of regular college first. That would include physics, biology, math up to calculus, and organiz chemistry (which is about the toughest course in all of college) - if you get very good marks in all these tough courses, then you can get into pharmacy school and take four more years of similar tough courses. You have to be very good at math (but regular math, not calculus) and you have to love chemistry.

Because pharmacists make a pile of money, the competition to get into pharmacy schools has gotten really tough. So, you need to be a very good student in high school or you won't qualify for admission. A pharmacy college in our state had 1000 applicants for 90 places last according to a news article printed a few days ago.

My tuition and fees for this year at a public school in Illinois are about $16,000.
I'm in pharmacy school right now, and it is going well. However, I'm in my second year. Which for us, is the heaviest hour year. Next semester, I'll be in class almost everyday from 8:30am to 4:30pm with only an one hour lunch break.

Pharmacy schools in CA include: USC, UCSF, UCSD, U of the Pacific, Western U, and Loma Linda.

USC, LLU, Western and UoP all run $26-32k per year. UCSF and UCSD are public, so their tuitions are much lower than the rest of the schools I've listed. UC system schools are around $12k per year.
